Skin Care Routine

So i have always been a bit rubbish when it comes to taking care of my skin. I would spend a lot of nights sleeping with full make up on and would never moisturise or exfoliate! My skin is quite sensitive and also very dry so I thought, enough is enough! I have been using these products for around a month now and can see such a difference! I just need to find a good foundation for my dry skin (hit me up if you have any recommendations please!).

Anyway, I thought I would share my routine with you and recommend a few new products I recently purchased. All links to the products are below the picture with the price if you would like to take a look at them! Plus, these are all cruelty free too, yay!

No.1

Superdrug Super Balm (For dry skin, nails and lips)

This product is great, its quite small, so handy to keep in your bag! I tend to use this in my very dry areas on my face as it is quite intense. I get very dry skin on my T zone and lips, so I focus it in those areas. I recommend using this in conjunction with my other super drug product I am going to show you. I put this on as and when I like, normally first thing in the morning, before applying my makeup.

No.2

Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Facial Serum

This is one of my favourite moisture serums! I use this before I apply my makeup, and it just gives me such a nice even and moisturised base for my make up. I use quite a big bit on my T zone, and it works wonders! You don't need a lot on your face, a little definitely goes a long way with this serum! I also use this before I go to sleep and it has really helped my dry skin. Both this and the Super Balm are cruelty free to, which is always great. (And so cheap!!).

No.3

Makeup Revolution Aqua Priming Base

This product is my holy grail!! Once again, I used to not bother with primers, and I didn't know what I was missing! If you follow me on Insta or Twitter, then you know I love Makeup Revolution products, so I had to check out this primer. My makeup never used to stay on or be very even, and this is definitely a game changer. I also really like it as it is a spray and not a serum. You just need a couple of sprays on your face, from about 8 to 10 inches away, let it sink in a bit and start your make up! My foundation always goes on a lot better after using this, and my make up still looks intact at the end of the day! Plus, look at that price!!

No.4

Superdrug Gentle Oatmeal Exfoliator

Couldn't find the Oatmeal one - but here is a similar one! CLICK HERE - £2.99

So I shouldn't really be including this yet, as I have not had time to try this out! I just thought I would include this incase anyone is interested in buying a cruelty free exfoliator. This is for Normal to Dry skin. I will let you know how this goes when I try it (probably this weekend!), but judging how I feel about the other products in this range - I have high hopes! It also has 100% natural exfoliants, so it shouldn't be too harsh on the skin.

Thank you for reading, and I am always interested in reading others skin care routines, so link be yours below, or leave a comment!

  1. That Superdrug range looks great and so affordable. I'm currently using Pai cleanser as a makeup remover, also a pai moisturiser and sometimes if I'm short on time I like to just use Simple wipes. I'd like to get into a more solid routine with my skin one day 😁 xx
